What MACIAS PR Delivered in 1Q 2018

New York, New York, April 16, 2018 (Newswire) –The top tech and healthcare PR firm – MACIAS PR – has released its quarterly media report, detailing the coverage it secured for clients from January to March 2018.

Throughout the first quarter, MACIAS PR secured publicity for its clients with local and national newspapers, online news sites and TV stations in Washington, DC, New York, Arizona and New Jersey.

ABC 7 in Washington, DC ran a story on the flu epidemic and turned to its health tech client for advice on how consumers can save money on prescriptions. MACIAS PR also placed a TV segment for that client that appeared on KGUN 9 in Tucson.

In New York, MACIAS PR secured a story on Channel 11 Morning News that exposed how pay day loans were preying on consumers. Its lending client was positioned in the TV segment as an expert, explaining why these loans are illegal in New York City.

MACIAS PR also secured TV segments  in Spanish for its nonprofit PR partner on Univision and NY1 Noticias.  It helped place a thought leadership column in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that explained how corporate partnerships can close the tech skills gap. The nonprofit client said the publicity led to hundreds of calls from new students trying to enroll in their program.

“Most clients say they want to be on CBS or ABC, but when you’re driving leads, a targeted campaign is usually more effective,” said Mark Macias, the founder of MACIAS PR. “If your business is trying to generate leads or increase sales, go to where your customers are – and tell your story directly to them. This is where strategy is more effective.”

MACIAS PR applied this targeted strategy for its health care clients, securing stories with Healthcare Analytics News, HealthExec.com, Home Health Technology and the New York Post.

Media Turns to MACIAS PR for PR and Branding Advice

Following the Season Finale of the ABC hit show, The Bachelor, Popculture.com turned to Macias for crisis and branding advice on how the star of the show could rehabilitate his reputation. He gave specific examples on how the reality star could turn his reputation around with the media.

Macias also wrote two columns for The Daily Caller on timely topics. Macias elaborated on how Trump’s Fake Media Awards were a publicity tactic pulled from the Soviet propaganda playbook. The second column predicted that Millennials would change the gun debate laws using social media.
