Get your Brand into the Conversation – Example

By Mark Macias

How do you get clients talking about your brand, product or service? Water cooler material is one approach that MACIAS PR continually leverages with our media campaigns.

Today is one of the hottest days of  summer – so what are people likely talking about? My guess is the weather. Here’s how we positioned our digital health client on CBS 2 and a popular health news site by creating water cooler material.

How to get your Brand into the Media Conversation

Most consumers know Gatorade and other sports drinks are loaded with calories, off-setting their nutritional value from electrolytes. However, there is a way to create lower calorie sports drinks with electrolytes at home. These homemade drinks are healthier without the processed sugars and cheaper than any bottle of Gatorade.

If you exercise outside in the heat, are hungover, or see the kids playing outside, these nutritional drinks can keep everyone healthier and hydrated.

In TV, water cooler material is valuable from a programming perspective. It gives the anchors a chance to talk to their audience and discuss issues that are brewing in the community.

MACIAS PR Takes Each Story Further

Following that story we secured on CBS 2, we took that same story and pushed it to the online media. This time, our client was branded as the solution. You can read that story here.
