The W Hotel in Miami Beach secured one of the best media placements on New Year’s Eve 2017. FOX News was live at Wet Bar inside the South Beach hotel, showing the scene and interviewing promoters. The TV segment made the Miami scene look fun, making me wish I was there.
It was practically a commercial on one of the biggest television night’s of the year. And the W Hotel remained in the middle of that coverage – all night long – as the New Year’s Eve Special went back to the bar for updates.
And making the coup even better, Fox News promoted their coverage – and the W Hotel – leading up to the New Year’s Eve program. So how did the W Hotel and Wet Bar secure this coverage?
Event PR – Rules for Securing Media Coverage
